The insert is locked into the full femur using a toggle clamp mounted onto the main part of the full femur to hold the insert firmly in place during a workshop.
There is no distal or proximal movement of the insert whilst broaching.
Allows correct orientation of the hip implant in relation to the full pelvis.
Allows the proximal femur to be resected after the procedure is complete to check stem position.
The insert material is environmentally harmless and bio-degradable
